The project located in Nantong was established due to high electricity costs for the client company and peak electricity usage differences in the morning and evening. To save on electricity bills, the company chose to use an energy storage system for peak shaving, charging during low-peak times and discharging during high-peak times. The BMS battery management technology from AlphaESS was used to maximize the use of retired power batteries for the factory's expansion, which helped to meet peak shaving needs and save costs overall, aligning with the country's requirement for energy conservation and emissions reduction.
