Who may be eligible?
Battery expansion projects must meet the applicable requirements of the Battery STC program. Generally, eligible customers may include those who:

Installed a compatible AlphaESS SMILE 5 or G3 battery system before 1 July 2025.

Are expanding their system using compatible AlphaESS battery modules.

Have the expansion installed by a suitably accredited installer.

Meet all applicable Battery STC program requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
Eligibility is subject to installer confirmation and final assessment.
