An oil beam pump operates 24/7 in the middle of dessert. Now it is fully powered by Solar/Battery system. With this off-grid application, a smart control and monitoring system is in placed for security and maintenance purposes. Online monitoring will enable our aftersales engineers to check on the well-being of the system.

With this East Village project, the centralized battery works as a free market, allowing residents to trade electricity freely between one to another. The 36 house owners will have their own solar and battery system (AlphaESS residential energy storage product — SMILE5) to provide their first level of electricity. When their SMILE5 is full, extra electricity will be stored in the centralized battery system. When there is not enough electricity stored in their SMILE5 or excess power is needed, the house owner will be able to pull electricity from the centralized battery as a second level electricity reserve.

At Sale, Victoria, the 30kW PV system is AC coupled with a 30kW battery inverter, and further connected to a 50kWh battery bank. With this system, the owner of the business enjoys their solar electricity during operating hours. The battery provides them the electricity in need after sunset and during cloudy days.
